Mosaic Ribbon Jar

It sits in the window of my studio

This is a project that I did a while ago. I wanted it to look like a wide embroidered ribbon wrapping around the jar.
When I was working on this project I used masking tape to tape off the areas that I wanted to remain clear.  I applied the glass gems to define the edges and then added the floral design. Finally I filled in with tan glass. This project was grouted with a off white grout.
